After Thames Water's maintenance immediately outside our property left our kitchen cold water supply as a slow trickle, Rubel Rana from Metro Plumb Brixton was sent to address the problem. Rubel arrived just a few hours after my call and quickly identified the problem - that the hose was full of grit. Within 20 minutes, he had removed the stones and returned the flow to its normal state. He made it look effortless. After Thames Water fixing a leak outside our house we had a disaster with no hot water filling the tank or coming out of the taps.
Rubel Rana from the Brixton branch (I believe), came out to us through Thames Water insurance and had our hot water running again within a couple of hours.
Very friendly and efficient service. His persistence paid off and I can finally have a hot shower again!

Hi Metro,
Just wanted to email yourself in regards one of your staff who attended our emergency call out via our Halifax bank account cover.
We have emergency cover via Homeserve and contacted them first to call them out, they had no operatives working today to send and the earliest was Wednesday 9th June !!
We then remembered we had call out cover with our bank account, phone call made and within a few hours your operative Steve arrived, he found the problem, fixed the issue and got us back to normal, and coupled with this, regular update text and phone calls to keep us in the loop.
Great work, very professional, smart vehicle and clean but most important was very calm and polite towards us.
A huge thank you and a huge thank you to Steve.
Very happy and very impressed especially for a Sunday !!

Couldn't ask for a better service, I was without decent water flow for 2 days due to outside leak leaving me with very low pressure , Oretha Richards called me to say she wouldl be round to help after 5pm, She was punctual, polite and professional and sorted the problem in no time. A shocking customer service experience on an emergency insurance call out for a leak. Plumber arrived, took pictures, went back to the road to call in for authority and left without saying anything. Called the depot to find out what happened and they couldn't have cared less. 0/10 for service so I can only imagine how poor the job would have been if they'd attempted a fix. More...
