Melissa did my wedding hair, and the hair for my two bridesmaids and Mum. We were all really happy with our hair and they looked great all day! If I could, I would give Melissa 5+ stars! She did my wedding & bridal party hair in November 2017 and she was a dream to work with from start to finish. From the initial booking to the trial and then onto the wedding day, Melissa made me feel completely comfortable and I felt free to ask her to create anything! I had a fairly specific idea of the sort of style I wanted which was quite intricate and Melissa not only listened and understood, but she also added her own creative touches which took it beyond my expectations. Even more importantly than than the look, my hair stayed in place all day (even through lots of dancing) but it was also very natural looking - it's a miracle to me how she achieved this! Not only is Melissa skilled in doing what she does, but she is also such a caring, kind and warm person and a lovely calm presence to have around on your wedding morning. Speaking on behalf of my bridesmaids and mothers/grandmother, she also made them look and feel gorgeous on the day, for which I am so grateful. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Melissa to brides-to-be, I found her to be professional, punctual and so flexible in her approach. Melissa was amazing!!! 5 stars isn't enough. She was so sweet and easy to work with, and did a phenomenal job on my hair! She also did a lovely job with my mom and sisters hair . Everyone kept commenting about how amazing my hair looked, they couldn't believe it! It was exactly what I wanted. She was very timely and professional, pleasant and such an absolute dream to work with. She was instrumental in making sure that getting ready on the morning of my wedding was stress free and easy. I can not recommend Melissa highly enough! She did my hair, my 3 bridesmaids and my mum’s hair for my wedding. We all loved it and it stayed in perfectly all day. Having previously had a very negative experience elsewhere at a hair trial and coming away from that very upset and let down, Melissa really was a breath of fresh air. She listened to what we wanted and got it spot on. I couldn’t have been happier! On the morning of the wedding Melissa was so friendly and calm. She kept things moving along and went well beyond her duties as hairdresser- helping my dad with his kilt, tidying around my living room and kitchen and even helping me into my dress. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her, I certainly don’t think we would have had such a relaxed and enjoyable morning if it wasn’t for Melissa. Melissa recently did mine and my bridal parties hair for my wedding. I cannot recommend her enough. We had 5 different up do's. They were all amazing and lasted the full wedding and the celebrations the following day.
