Brilliant day out. Lots of outdoor and adventurous activities for the children to do. Tractor ride needs to be longer though and the sound system is not loud enough so couldn’t hear commentary. The cooked food in the barn was delicious! I really enjoyed the wagu burger and chunky chips. Boys are well and really good sized portions. Outdoor activities were great. Was very shocked when my boys both had a go at the high ropes! Big bag of feed for £1 was great value for them to feed the animals. Big soft play with the drop slides was great to watch and gave me a few min peace with a coffee. Will come again. 2 boys 4&6 More...

One of the very best open farms I have been to and suitable for children of all ages whatever the weather. In addition there are plenty of opportunities to feed the farm animals and enjoy the outdoor activities. Picnic facilities are available or the indoor restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit. More...

Well worth going even just for the indoor kids play area, new stuff is added so often it makes a nice change to see this for kids as they get bored of the same old things. Took my daughter on her birthday she loved it so much we got annual passes and have been going back whenever possible. Christmas events are great must admit the rapping elf had me going. You have a great team mead well done. Best advise buy a pass it's cheaper...weekdays are nice after school hours not normally too busy weekends are mayhem in a good way. Bring a drink and food, the cafe is nice but a little pricey in my opinion, but good quality foods. Shows and rides available and feeding animals is allowed but 50p per bag of feed. Again well worth it though. More...

Restaurant offers a good choice of food and drinks prices are ok on the whole for this type of place though when we whent you could get season tickets that entitles you to a small discount on food.Overall a fairly cheap family day out. We’re annual membership holders who attend weekly... we highly recommend the farm for both indoor and outdoor fun! Ariel adventures, climbing wall, go karts, crazy golf, sandpits, wooden play park and bouncing pillows to entertain all age groups outside. As well as the numerous animals in their barns to feed, pet and learn about. There’s also a huge indoor soft Play for plenty of physical fun as the children progress through various levels. The staff are friendly and informative. As childminders and parents our children learn weekly about the world around us, seeing the seasonal changes, learning about life cycles, kindness and caring, the importance of hygiene and developing their physical skills, confidence and general learning in many areas. We booked the farm for our sons 4th Birthday party. There was so much to do there it kept all ages from 2-12 Happy and entertained for most of the day. The party food was okay but there was a wait half the food came out before the other half so children sat waiting quite a while. I think the farm might have been abit greedy with the parties. There were three other parties at the same time as ours. It all felt very unorganised and disjointed. We were allowed to have private bunny hop and tractor ride but we were really rushed about doing them. our lamb feeding was also put at the same time as lunch so we didn't get to do that. The fact that I didn't have to prepare a buffet or make party bags was a bonus but I think the parties need a proper co-ordinator on the day. My son did have a lovely day with all his friends and we have always loved Mead. it wouldn't put us off returning. just would put us off booking another party there. More...
