Disappointing. We were required to have our rented flat cleaned to a professional standard at the end of our tenancy as per our tenancy agreement. For peace of mind in getting our deposit back in full we decided to hire a professional and accepted MC Multiple Cleaning Service’s quote. The flat was already domestically relatively clean and also unfurnished, so it should have been a straightforward clean. An end of tenancy inventory was carried out independently after the clean. Upon receiving the inventory document, we were very disappointed to see many photos of areas of the flat had not been cleaned to a professional standard, and some obvious areas hadn’t been touched. As the landlords were looking to sell the flat, they let some of the issues slide, but as per the 7 day guarantee, I requested the cleaners return to rectify the issues the landlord was not happy with.
