Matthew Johnston

As a couple who don’t really like getting our photo taken, by the last photo we didn’t want him to go! Within minutes of being in his company he felt like a part of the family. He was so kind and patient with us (we had our two young kids running riot and he was so good with them). Our youngest who can be anti-social wouldn’t stop talking about him. After our pre-wedding photoshoot, we were driving away and she asked her dad to put the window down so she could shout ‘bye Matthew!’. He looked after us on the day as well, after we got married we got a huge hug from him and he even went and got us glasses of Prosecco for our first drink, told us to go mingle and he would see us in half an hour. He made sure we had eaten and knew from personal experience what it was like to get married. We were also super impressed at how well the photos have turned out. He chatted with the guests and had them laughing. I also saw him outside ushering guests in before our first dance - we didn’t even ask him to do that ❤️ Matthew you were just amazing from start to finish, you really helped bring a lot of comfort at stressful times for us and when you said ‘that’s a wrap’ we genuinely felt really sad that we wouldn’t see you again! Honestly we can’t say enough good things about Matthew. A genuinely great person and a brilliant photographer. He was a joy to be around and fitted right in on our wedding day; so many guests mentioned to us afterwards how great they thought he was. The whole process was so relaxed and the photos are a dream. Matthew is amazing at what he does. His work speaks volumes !! He feels like a bestfriend on your day, The kind of person he is just makes the whole experience better having him involved. Nothing was ever forced which is what me and my Husband were after. We are in love with our photos and so blessed to have these for the rest of our life's Matthew captured everything perfectly. Matthew was definitely one of the best highlights of our wedding day. My new husband is not one for getting photos at any time but my goodness Matthew made us both feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. And we had the most fun getting our pictures! There was no pressure from Matthew to get 'the shots' and he allowed us to enjoy our day with family & friends as much as possible! From the moment we booked Matthew his communication was great, I knew we picked the right photographer. Matthew was just lovley from start to finish! And our photos.... wow.... just wow!
