Quite simply, Matt is an outstanding photographer and you should look no further for your wedding photography!We hired him to photograph our wedding at the Grand Hotel, and were so impressed by his relaxed but professional approach.
We hired Matt for 4 hours, but he went over and above and stayed a lot longer to ensure we had our speeches photographed.
Matt has done a superb job in capturing the greatest moments of our day. Each finished image conveys how much pride he takes in his work; from the angle, to the sharpness, to the colours - all of our photo's are absolutely perfect. A great guy and a phenomenal photographer - get him booked!!

Matt was our wedding photographer at Close House yesterday and i have to say i would recommend him anyday! He was relaxed but focused which worked really well for my husband and i, as we have never had any professional photos taken before.
We both felt really at ease, and felt we could ask for any shots we wanted! After seeing a couple of photos on the day and a sneak preview today on facebook, i know that he has taken some stunning shots and has captured our special day perfectly! We had a range of traditional family snaps to more creative shots making the most of the amazing scenery at the venue! Have heard nothing but positive comments from our friends and family on the day and cant wait to see the rest of the photos :-) xx
As it won't allow me to add another review.... Having received our photos I have to stand by my original review! We were not disappointed in the least! Have some stunning shots that are just waiting to take pride of place in our home, and so much choice that we don't know where to start! Couldn't rate Matt any highly :-) xx

5 stars all the way. Matt made us feel comfortable and wedding guests commented on how nice he was and easy to work with. We have some of the most fabulous photos which tell the story of our big day
. He took time and made so much effort to get the perfects shots, the photos speak for themselves. I am over the moon as there is one picture to beat another. We are so happy and so eternally grateful. I also felt the price was extremely reasonable in comparison to other photographers and the presentation box was just stunning!

We recently had a photoshoot of my baby son done. Every photograph was outstanding and was difficult to pic only a few.
Not only were the photographs great, but the way he was with us as a family was excellent and was great with my son as I he had the patience to wait for him to stop crying and all the other baby things that you cant control!
I highly recommend Matthew and we’ll be using him again.

Matt Hale is an incredible photographer that really goes the extra mile to make his customers happy. He has an amazing knack of blending into the wedding so seamlessly that you barely notice that he is there (and that is a compliment!
). He takes the most wonderful candid shots, and really captures the joy of the day. He has great ideas for interesting shots and is very creative - he lets you bring your own personality to the photos and captures the little private moments without you noticing.
He takes his time with the editing process to make sure that every photo is of the highest quality.
I genuinely cannot recommend Matt highly enough. The one thing I always said I wanted for my wedding was a good photographer, and the pictures Matt produces are nothing less than stunning. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

What an amazing photographer.
Photos came out beautifully, and it didn't break the bank either. He has a wonderful and charming manner and there's not a person at the wedding who didn't have nice things to say about him.
He turned up looking the part and put a smile on people's faces. He also made me look good in photos, so he's doing something right!
Matt is the kind of guy where you say "we are interested in ..., and what we really like is..." and he comes up with ideas to meet your needs. He's flexible, extremely professional and he doesn't mind being stopped while he's busy and asked to take a photo. He really goes the extra mile.
What I like about Matt above all else is his artistic eye. He makes the ordinary extraordinary and creates beautiful images from ideas which would never have crossed my mind.
Weddings, christenings, parties, he can do it all. I can't speak highly enough of this brilliant artist, and his work.

Matt did our wedding photos in March this year. He made everyone feel comfortable getting their photos taken and wasn't intrusive.
I can't even remember half the photos been taken! Matt really listens to any ideas you have about different pictures you want, we have ended up with some absolutely stunning pictures of our perfect day.
Matt also designed an album for us and there was no problem making little changes if we didn't like a certain picture layout etc. He's excellent at keeping in touch, if your thinking about booking Matt for photography don't hesitate to do so.
