Our recruitment process is focused on people’s values, skills and experience. We welcome staff with lived experience as well as paid experience.
Master Care Ltd aims to recruit support staff from various care backgrounds that possess skills and experience from mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and older people services.
A robust recruitment procedure is in place with all checks done before staff can commence duties to ensure safety of the people we support. In addition to the direct support staff, the Registered Manager works 40 hours per week, most of which should be in addition to the levels displayed. In certain circumstances the manager may be included within the staffing levels described. Staffing levels may be changed at the discretion of the Manager if there are needs. Care staff work on a Rota system which ensures that the service is staffed by the appropriate number and skill mix, including weekends and public holidays. New employees are inducted to National Training Organization standards within 12 weeks of employment. We manage and train our employees with the aim that all our carers achieve NVQ level 2. All other employees receive the training appropriate to their work, for example: IT skills training for office-based staff. All employees receive annual training in health and safety matters such as moving and handling, fire awareness and procedures, adult protection and safeguards, and a range of other topics.
The working environment will reflect a commitment to staff development through supervision, appraisal, and training. The relationship between supervisor and supervisee, manager and staff member should reflect an honest, open, trustworthy, positive, and professional approach at all times. We understand that our employees are our biggest asset and without them we wouldn’t be able to provide outstanding quality of care and support to the most vulnerable people in our communities.

Although vaccination of care staff is no longer a legal requirement, we makes sure our staff understands the importance of good infection control protocol and we makes sure they adhere it. We encourage and support our service users to have their vaccinations to protect them and those around them.

Services

A Class Care offers a wealth of personal and functional care and associated domestic services to meet the needs of dependent clients (“Service Users”); these may include older people, those with a disability and people who need assistance due to illness to continue living in their own homes and community. This will be achieved by promoting a standard of excellence which embraces fundamental principles of good care practice that is witnessed and evaluated through the practice, conduct and control of quality care in the domestic environment.
Care is provided in partnership with service users, their carers and relatives, respecting their diverse needs, preferences and choices. It is standard practice for a member of our management team to visit each service user before commencing the service to be able to understand the individual situation and then provide the most suitable package accordingly.
