I needed a brand new boiler installed, as my 23 year old (Ideal) Gravity Fed system had given up the ghost. Fed up with repairing the old boiler i decided that i needed a brand new boiler installed.
I required the new boiler to be relocated from the kitchen downstairs to the airing cupboard upstairs.
I initially booked an appointment with Master Gas London to come out for an inspection of my property and to provide me with a quote after speaking with a very knowledgeable young man by the name of Ed.
This company had previously carried out various other jobs for my cousin that owns a couple of rental properties in the area and he had previously mentioned to me that they were a fantastic firm that are reliable and trustworthy.
Tam arrived at my house on the appointment day at the agreed time and walked around my property both inside and outside in order to price in the work.
Tam stated that the job would take a total of 3 days to complete from start to finish and went on to provide me with all of the information that i needed in order to make a decision that best suited my needs, while at the same time taking the time to answer all of my questions without any hesitation.
The next day, Tam sent me an email with my quotation. He provided me with a complete breakdown of the costs for the boiler and the parts for the job, as well as the total cost of the labour, for two of the team to carry out the work. The format that was used was very clear and easy to understand.
I decided on a Vaillant brand of boiler with the extended 10 guarantee, and after contacting Tam the day after receiving my quotation, we both agreed on a starting date for the commencement of the work for the following week.
Tam and Dave arrived promptly and on time and laid out clean dust sheets throughout my property before starting work. They both proceeded to work solidly, non-stop for 3 whole days to complete my boiler installation.
Master Gas London installed my boiler to a very high standard and they were always very helpful and easy to talk to throughout the process.
It was honestly an absolute pleasure to have them work in my property. The entire team were highly professional from beginning to end.
I cannot speak more highly of Master Gas London and their team of engineers. I would gladly recommend them to all my friends and family without any hesitation.
I have to also mention the brilliant aftercare i received, as they were always very helpful and considerate when answering my quires before and after they had carried out the work.
I am not an easy person to please at all, however this company exceeded my expectations.

Master Gas, Master class! Don’t go anywhere else :-)
Tam was outstanding. He did an excellent job servicing my Worcester Bosch boiler.
He also identified gas safety issues with my gas meter that all previous engineers missed including that it had no bracket so was suspended by the pipe, the ECV was so stiff it could not be moved - not great if there was an emergency plus the regulator needed replacing. He informed me about these issues immediately and took instant remedial action incl isolating the gas meter, applying a gas warning notice and turning the boiler off from the switch spar. He showed me what I would have to do in an emergency and promptly contacted Cadent to report the issue and the action they needed to take incl replacing the regulator. He could have told me to call them but no, even when they tried to brush off attending on the day Tam was professional and Cadent arrived within an hour - Tam took care everything, amazing! Tam took pictures, sent them to me for my records with an explanation. He literally went out of his way to fix everything for me, which I really appreciated.
Tam is obviously extremely knowledgeable; very friendly, efficient and clearly takes pride in his work - ensuring everything was checked and completed to a high standard. He arrived on time, calling in advance and was respectful when moving his kit in through and out of my property. Tam explained everything clearly and answered all my questions, kept me informed at all times, giving solid advice and guidance and sent the gas service record upon completion of the service.
Excellent communication from booking to post-job follow-up. Yup, he had the decency to send a follow-up email to make sure everything was well, post visit and that Cadent did what they needed to do - unlike most trades who take your money and run.
Tam/Master Gas is the only gas and plumbing company I will use in the future not only for my annual boiler service but for any other gas, heating or plumbing matter. I have not hesitated to recommend him to friends, family or anyone looking for a professional, smart, efficient, honest, friendly and outstanding engineer.

Ed and Tam attended a fault with my boiler and central heating, ordered some parts, and returned to install them and flush the system.
It would have been easier for them to tell me the boiler needed replacing and a lot more expensive for me, but they were honest and efficient in their work.
10 months on I have no issues to report, and very happy with their service.

I’m very glad that we had our Valiant boiler installed in by Master Gas London whose engineers did an excellent job! I would highly recommend this company.
The engineers were kind, considerate and trustworthy, and knew what they were doing. They worked efficiently throughout the day to complete all works on the same day (another company quoted two days of work for the same job). Their finished work was not of a ’rushed type’ ; it was tidy and of high standard. They carried out gas safety checks on all gas appliances in the house and provided us with a gas safety certificate after the installation of the new boiler and securing the old gas meter onto wall.
Although we had the manual we were also shown how the new system operates.
We were very pleased and amazed how they managed to keep the house clean on a rainy day when they had to work outside as well.
