I read online mortgage brokers are worth their weight in gold and Martin really is. I naively thought I could have done it all myself but in hindsight, we couldn’t have bought our 1st home without Martin’s help. He took the time to talk me through our options and what I needed to do at the start of lockdown when the housing market was at a standstill, as well as making us aware of options we’d have never have known about without his knowledge. Written by the girl who never in a million years thought she would get a mortgage. Well I did! All thanks to Martin! He done everything from dealing with the banks and the first home fund to my life insurance and home insurance. Martin tells you what he needs and as long as you give him the correct paperwork he does the rest. As a first time buyer Martin didn't charge a fee which makes it even better when you already have to pay out loads to other various sources. My girlfriend and I are first time buyers. We had seen two previous mortgage advisors , and got told there was no chance we could get a mortgage in our current circumstance. This was when we were recommended Martin, and I wish we had gone to see him first. Within the first 5 minutes of speaking with Martin about our situation he assured us he could get us a mortgage and within four-six weeks we had bought our first home.
