Marshall’s Marquees

Delivered dirty disgusting tables and chairs including a broken unsafe table it took 6 people 2 hours to clean the equipment. Plus a marquee covered in mud on the inside photos of the table sent to director and the table shown to the collection driver who asked us to contact Mark. I didn't expect to be sent pristine unmarked equipment or but I had a right to expect un broken equipment not covered in mud and stale food. Think twice before using this companies services, things can go wrong with anything I believe it's how you deal with things when it goes wrong but to call a customer who spent a lot of money with the company a liar is totally unacceptable. Very poor communication and poor customer service. Man who came to erect marquee was extremely miserable. It was filthy dirty and I had to ask them to clean the roof which made it a little better. Tables and chairs absolutely filthy dirty. We thought the floor wasn't very good but only on the day when the tables were not stable at all and constantly falling over all the time and glasses were going flying that we realised. When the man -a different, more helpful man -came to take the marquee down he told us the floor hadn't been put down correctly and it was not strapped down properly. The managers reaction was just 'you should have told us in advance'. No apology or care or concern. How we were to know about the floor until it was in use goodness knows. When you pay £1000 you expect that the floor has been put down ok. They simply do not care. It was our daughters engagement party and we were so bitterly disappointed. Our marquee was delivered and installed by Luke (Tony - we missed you :-)), Dillon and Cory. They were unbelievable. I was worried because the marquee had to be taken through the house as we only have access to the garden through the front door and house (we had a side extension in 2017 which blocked outside access). The guys were unbelievable, not a scratch on our new wallpaper. I was soooo impressed with the guys. Same with collection, Luke and Grant didn't leave a scratch, I was sooo impressed. Your team has been unbelievable throughout this experience. I have recommended you to loads of my friends and relatives. Every one of your team were so friendly, professional and careful in everything they did. Never seen a team like this, I really felt like they were part of the family. They deserve full recognition and rewards.

I definitely will not look at another marquee company again, you are my only choice now.

The marquee was booked for our daughters wedding over a year in advance. Plenty of advance notice one would have thought. Delivered on time but correct coloured carpet not available, so marquee could not be set up or decorated until the Friday afternoon before the wedding on the Saturday . Sides of the marquee not pegged down, so any wind and they billow back and forth. One long buffet table never delivered and the entrance marquee not floored and carpeted as booked. It takes numerous phone calls to get anything done/remedied, including removal of the marquee. We did not let it spoil the day, but because of the poor service, we were under real pressure to get everything done. Not the way one wants to prepare for a special event! More...
