Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. We booked with a gift voucher. They offered us a room in the basement of the modern side of the hotel to begin with, but were happy to give us a room on the first floor when we asked. The pool and changing rooms were being upgraded, but it didn't spoil our swim. Dinner was enjoyable despite a mix up with the drinks, which were then scratched from the bill - thank you. At breakfast, the restaurant was full, so we were directed to join the wedding party in the main part of the hotel. Enjoyed the stay - the classic part of the manor house looked and felt a much nicer place to stay in - do ask for that if there's not a wedding going on. More...

The venue and location is very nice. We went for a event and had a meal the food was good but dessert was slow to arrive. The DJ and live music was very good.

Nice not too upmarket mixed clientele not just for the posh type only all sorts of people from all walks of life which I liked nice rooms not over poshed up. Good food options by reserving a table or even if you don't book a table there's food options for food until 10pm overall a nice place with pool Jacuzzi and sauna + treatments and free parking for all over 200 spaces More...

We visited for a family celebration. Our visit was perfect. Function room was set up lovely. Our meal wad served hot and the 3 courses were all delicious. Really surprised, golf course in very good condition and very tricky but rewarding. A round you need to think about not just a long drive on every hole. Greens were in great condition.
