My husband got me a make up lesson with Nancy for my birthday. From start to finish I loved it! Nancy was lovely and really helped me to recreate the smoky eyed look that I like. I competed a two day course with Nancy. Her professionalism was outstanding. This gave me ability to be able to set up my own bridal make-up business with confidence. I have attended other courses but been left disappointed after being taught by Nancy. She corrects you but guides you to be a better artist. I booked Makeup Manchester having had personal recommendations but didn't know what to expect. Having your make up done on your wedding day is such a nerve wracking experience! Nancy gave me, my two sisters and my mum a makeup lesson, so we had more confidence doing our own makeup in the future, and for me to learn how to do my makeup on my wedding day.

It was the best decision to go to Makeup Manchester!! We not only learnt some amazing skills for life, but had the best day ever :) Nancy was so warm and welcoming, we soon relaxed into her gorgeous studio, and had a complete laugh. She was able to meet all our different needs and go at the right pace for us. Everything was explained so clearly and we loved the makeup styling chart we could take home with us. Now I feel confident doing my own makeup on my wedding day and also how to choose and invest in the best makeup for me.

We were a frazzled bunch, all in need of a pick me up, and totally clueless when it came to makeup! We loved the fact that we put the makeup on ourselves :) Nancy made sure all the products we used were not only the right colours/textures but also that they matched our sensitive skin. Her products were quality and kind to our skin. Definitely value for money as we were not only made to feel gorgeous on the day, but have taken away so many skills and knowledge for the future, it's changed how I view makeup as a whole.

Nancy did the make up for my mum, my sister and myself for my wedding and we loved the results! I was really keen to get the make up done professionally for the wedding but was worried before meeting Nancy that it could be awkward having someone in the room the morning of the wedding, but Nancy was great, brilliant to get along with and put my mum at ease straight away even though she'd never had her hair or make up done professionally before. My daughter had a “one to one” makeup lesson this morning. She is profoundly deaf and Nancy took so much time and care to make sure she understood.
I was on hand to help with communication but wasn’t really needed.

Nancy created the make up and hair looks for me on my wedding day and my sister who was my bridesmaid. We both fell in love with Nancy's Instagram after I booked her and followed all her posts to see what make up/hair creations she would design next.

Once we met her at the trial I knew I had made the right decision, she made us feel completely at ease and comfortable. She knew exactly what we wanted and has a vast collection of make up as well as a great knowledge of techniques and style eras.

Having Nancy with us on my wedding morning made me feel so comfortable and it was just like having a friend with us getting ready. She created my make up look perfectly, putting a modern spin on a Priscilla Presley smoky eye. My hair was styled perfectly and she listened and adapted all of the requests we had made since the trial with complete ease. She wouldn't even let me help her carry her heavy make up cases up the stairs because it was my wedding morning and she wanted me to relax!

It has been a pleasure getting to know Nancy and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Everyone complimented my hair and make up at the wedding and it gave me the confidence boost I needed for my wedding day. More...

Absolutely loved the hair and make up that Nita did for 3 of us ready for my sister in laws hen do. We were all really pleased with each of our looks and it lasted well into the early hours of the morning!

Nita was attentive and listened to each of us and made suggestions as well as giving us some tips that we could use on a daily basis!
