This is cheesy but I knew straight away that Make up by WJ was the one when it came to deciding who will do my wedding make up. I was even more excited to find out she was available. Her work is not only applying make up but getting to know you as a person, what your preferences are and what suits you. She works with your features and not from an image on google as every face is unique. She is the most hard working, kindest, thoughtful and patient person I have worked with. Her skills are amazing and I’ve never had so many compliments in my life about my make up especially as I come from a culture where more is more! I am the most fussiest person when it comes to make up. I hate trying new things, I’m sceptical about eyeshadow colours but I put my trust in her and boy did she deliver. I’ll forever be grateful that she was part of my wedding day. If you’re reading this review contemplating whether you should book then please don’t hesitate, you will not regret it. It was my first time meeting this kind hearted lady through a friend of mine. Her hospitality was super, I felt so at home and like I had already known her. There was a constant conversation flow and she guided me through every step of what makeup she was applying and why. I’m not very familiar with a lot of products but she opened my knowledge more about what to use and why. The results were amazing! I couldn’t believe that this masterpiece was even me at the end. What do you love most about your job?
Makeup is my passion and it is amazing that I can work in something that I love. I love how i get to see the customers' reaction and satisfaction there and then, it is a very self rewarding career.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love for makeup and my long experience working with makeup brands is what inspired me to start my own makeup business.
Why should our clients choose you?
My looks and transformations are so unique and I am able to cater to clients needs. I do not change my client's looks, I enhance ir in a very beautiful way and make her look herself but much more beautiful. I focus on her features and what makes her beautiful and I emphasise it and bring it out more. I believe every woman is beautiful in her own unique way and makeup is there to boost her confidence and bring out her features.
