I have been going to MakeupBox Studio for almost 3 years now and I would NOT go anywhere else. Everyone in there is absolutely lovely! I see Briony who does my lashes for me. I always struggled with different lash techs in the past as they could never get the look I wanted and I would find the lashes would never last more than a few days, maximum a week but with Briony's lashes they last for up to 3 weeks!!. My lashes are perfect every single time I visit Briony. People compliment my lashes on a weekly basis and this is all because of Briony's work! Briony also does facial aesthetics, I had been thinking about getting my lips done for 7 years as 1) I have always been nervous of needles, 2) I hadn't found someone I could trust to treat my face as I had never had any dermafiller done before. I decided to put my trust into Briony after seeing her amazing results on other clients and I had my lips done! I wanted something super natural and subtle. Briony done exactly this!!! I absolutely LOVEEEEE my lips. This treatment was not something I decided to do out the blue, it took me many years to go ahead with it and I'm SO HAPPY I chose Briony. Briony uses ultra small needles so if you're someone like me who has phobias of needles then you will definitely be surprised with her treatment. Briony was so gentle and I'm so grateful for her putting me at ease throughout the whole treatment. Even the after care was spot on. She was there for me for every query I had. Cancelled on the morning of my birthday. Confirmed my appointment with me over email that morning, waited for me to arrive to the shop to leave me sat there for 15 minutes before the receptionist eventually came over with a smirk on his face to tell me that the artist hadnt arrived for work. Im an understanding person and get that these things happen, but even when i called the shop after to discuss my refund, the man on reception was so rude and just hung up the phone on me. I’ve been going to Briony to have my eyelashes done coming up to almost 3 years now and I couldn’t recommend her any more! !! I have used makeup box for the last few years everyone is fantastic! Briony looks after my lashes and filler and would never trust anyone else. She keeps me calm and most of all she is fantastic at what she does. Highly recommended! The team look after my colour and extensions and highly recommend them. Bianca does the best lash extensions in Essex. I have soft classic lashes now and they still look beautiful after two weeks. She is also amazing at Russians, they're so full but I am always surprised at how quick she is. I go to Briony at the make up box pretty much every week for lashes (sometimes Botox and B12!) and not only is she the most lovely, professional girl but she’s also THE BEST at what she does! My lashes are perfect every single time and last me ages!!! She’s also SO QUICK!! I’ve tried so many lash girls and she is by far the best, no matter whether I want natural or full volume I’ve never had any problems. I also went to briony for my first ‘baby Botox’ as I had been so nervous but she made me comfortable and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results - 6 months later and still looks unreal! I came here looking for a makeup artist for my wedding and searched for a long time, and being a hair stylist myself means I'm highly critical! Lisa was amazing and her team are so friendly. I loved the salon it was on trend and service and atmosphere was second to none. She recommended I go to briony for lashes too and she didn't disappoint either. I love my lashes and have booked my next appointment already. If anyone is looking for somewhere to have hair and makeup I'd 100% recommend to come here! I went a while ago, not sure if much has changed but I remembered the disrespect to my hair a year onward. Attached pictures are from 2 days after the appointment. Not much experience with fun colours, my sisters hair was orange and she was in tears at the salon. Nonetheless the service and friendliness of staff was much appreciated and they’re lovely girls but i wouldn’t come here for fun colours, or if I didn’t have virgin hair. I was recommended by my close Friends to use the services here at Makeupboxstudio. I came for a blow dry and to have my make up done for my baby shower. The girls had catered to my timings, opened the salon up really early on a Sunday just to ensure I could get back to my baby shower on time and help set up. I was really happy with the services, make up lasted forever as well as my hair. The girls made me feel really relaxed and I was offered refreshments throughout my treatments! Avoid this hairdressers they are an absolute joke, first off they ripped me off with hair extensions that were totally unwearable and haven’t heard a word since and now my daughters hair is completely ruined and ginger instead of blonde and they refused to sort the problem out, absolutely unprofessional business avoid at all cost
