I wanted the paint and the rough casting removed from the front of my house to restore the original stone. I hired Mackay Stone and the work carried out was great and the workers were polite, friendly, and helpful and I was very pleased with the outcome.

Repointed and cleaned the stonework at the front of my house.. Looks great and couldn't be more pleased with the end result. After having a terrible experience in 2013 with a builder who i hired to maintain and clean the stone at the front of my home, i was dreading having to go through this again. How wrong i was. Mackay Stone Ltd were so friendly and approachable(unlike the previous company), they showed up on time every day. I have 3 young children, so safety was an issue for me but no matter what they always cleaned up after themselves every day and kept the house and garden as safe for my boys as possible. It was such a change to my previous experience of rude and unapproachable men who never cleaned up behind them. I would hire Mackay Stone again now any time i need work done as it was not just easier and cheaper but the work was also done to a very high standard and my husband and i are delighted. More...
