How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Check the walls for stability and make sure there are no defects. Also head height if you have to pick floor up woth insulation
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Floor wether you need the 100mm of insulation? This may be in the slab already.
If your brickwork is single skin. This woild need an internal stud to insulate and also a membrane to make it watertight.
Roof also mat need to some work to allow for insulation and cretaing an air gap with ventilation.
Once insulation is in place, boarding will be done and skimming.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
If you dont have a minimum head height of 2.2meters you may not be able to convert. This is to meet health and safety regulations
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Firstly plan where stair case will be going making sure you have the head height where you will enter.
Floor wiol need ro structually sound. This may include steel work being installed. This will be down to structural drawings.
Once the new floor is in. Stairs will be put in.
Stud work and insulation will be put in.
Boarding and skimming will be done.
Buidling inspector will carry out inspections at different times to pass through buikding control.

We give a 12 month gaurantee with all our work. We are also wykamol acredited so you also get a 20 year guarantee on there products.
What do you love most about your job?
I love using old dirty wasted space and turning it into usable living space.
We take pride in all our work snd i dont class my job as work. I love doing my job and i enjoy getting up everyday doing what i do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Well my old boss wouldnt give me a pay rise so i bit the bukket and set up on my own which was very stressful but it worked out.
Ive always been driven and wanted to succeed. At times its stressful but i wouldnt change anything.

After lockdown we made sure we was wearing masks in customers houses etc.
Cellar/basement conversions
We offer full cellar and basement conversions. We are Wykamol accredited and can give 20 year guarantees on the tanking products.
We would take on the job from start to finish including any excavation of the floor.
All our work where necessary is passed off by building control and a completion certificate is issued.
Property extensions
We offer full property extensions with all work passed by building control.
We complete all the proposed works including any structural alterations, roofing work and the internal works.
We can even sort architects drawings and structural calculations so the journey is hassle free for your self
Loft conversions
Loft conversions can be completed wether there is a dormer being erected or not.
Structural works to the roof are always done to the architectural drawings and all passed off by building control.
Full property renovation
We can take the whole of your project on from start to finish if you are doing the full works. Even the landscaping can be taken care of.
