I have experience of working as a psychotherapist and counsellor for more than 27 years. I work online with adults and young people. I have worked in the emergency services across the UK as well as within charities and in private practice. I work nationally and internationally.
I offer both short and long term therapy.
As my practice also involves training, training counsellors within the UK and also supervisors this means that I am abreast of recent research showing what has been proven to be helpful to clients and implementing this into my work.
I have undertaken a wide range of training in my 27+ years as a therapist and although I collaborate with new clients to decide if we are able to work together, there are times when I may feel I am not the best person to work with a client and will refer them.
I am a Registrant and have a Honorary Fellowship from the BACP and am informed by their Ethical Framework.
