Q&As

1) Caregiving is a powerful reminder of how much we have to be grateful for. It encourages us to be more mindful and appreciate the simple things in life. Caregiving helps us foster a deeper sense of gratitude by reminding us that every day is an opportunity for kindness, compassion, and love. Whether it’s caring for a loved one or helping someone in need, caregiving can remind us to be more grateful and appreciative of the world around us.

2) Caregiving is an incredibly rewarding job that requires a lot of interpersonal skills. Working one on one with someone who needs your help and support can be very fulfilling, and it sharpens our skills in the process.

3) Good communication, empathy, and compassion are all essential qualities for caregiving, and they can easily be applied to other areas of your life. Whether you are interacting with a colleague or a family member, the skills you learn through caregiving can help you gain your satisfaction while you put smiles on others faces.

4) You have the opportunity to learn new skills.
It creates a beautiful and therapeutic relationship .When you are caring for someone, it is important to show them love, trust, and understanding. This gives us satisfaction while the people we care for remain comfortable

I lost my mum to dementia many years back and after having cared for her as her main and only carer, I realised the so much stress and burden carers go through when looking after their love ones. Through out that period, I felt abandoned, neglected and forgotten by family. On the other hand, I felt fulfilling as I knew I was giving my mum the best of care and love she desired before she ended up passing away. Not having enough finance to hire carers, I then, though it wise to establish something which is today my dom care to help support those families out there needing support with their love ones. That gave me peace of mind as I had gained more skills ,knowledge and passion as a caregiver to my mum.
