Could not recommend Pitch more. I’ve been having lesson with Elliot - only 4 so far - but my swing has completely changed for the better. I’ve never had a handicap but was probably around a 28. I was a chronic slicer coming from a cricket background but the use of technology (and Elliot) has drastically changed my swing. In the past I’ve had plenty of lessons, and turns out wasted money, in ‘normal’ settings and coaches have told me to do various things to combat my slice, even turning my wrists through impact.However, nothing compares to being able to see your recorded swing back at home and more importantly, the statistics about your swing, ball speed, angle of attack etc. The coaches then help you with various drills based on these stats.As I’ve said I’ve only been going for a couple of weeks but can’t wait to see my handicap dropping. I've been visiting the great Pitch setup since it opened. The setup is second to none, fully kitted out with GC2 launch monitors, Catalyst swing plates, front and rear video and a SAM puttlab. Since starting my lessons I have dropped from a 22 to 7 handicap and have my eyes opened to what makes an effective golf swing and how best to manage that swing. The setup is very professional, providing you the ability to review your swing in slow motion and to actually see your numbers, which enables you to see how slight adjustments can make big differences. Amazing facilities with great technology. Currently having lessons with Paul Fiddes and there has been immediate improvement and progress in such a short period of time. With the knowledge and technology on offer, you can receive much better feedback compared to just a standard driving range type lesson. For example, with each shot you can view your swing path, strike location, weight distribution, swing speed (and countless other measurements). I have found this very helpful in reinforcing the coaching advice and find it makes it easier to commit to swing changes. This is the only way i can fit lessons into my schedule - before work or after work - it's really central and a pretty handy way to do it. I work with Liam and he's helped me iron out my major flaws, even though I've got next to no time to practice. He explains how it all fits together, shows me the stats on the screen and plays back the video of when I get it right vs when i get it wrong. Plus he sends me the video at the end of the session, with narrative over the top telling me what to work on and exercises i can do in the house. I first met Liam Mcrossan about 5 years ago whilst teaching at another venue.After a period of not playing for a few years I was pleased to re connect with him at Pitch. Liam has always had a dynamic and enthusiastic style of coaching. Couple the above with the technology/videos at Pitch and you have a great combination. I am torn between giving Pitch London and my coach, Liam McCrossan, a very well-earned 5 stars and simply keeping the whole thing a secret. When you go to Pitch, you are made to feel like a pro. Technology fantastic, great atmosphere, high-end analysis and coaching that gets the job done (I've lost 4 shots off my handicap this year - 12 to 8). What more could you want?
