We were looking for a kitchen supplier who would work with us to develop a design that fitted our live style needs perfectly as well as solving some difficult design issues that came from creating a modern kitchen within the limitations of an old house.
We found the staff at Contour extremely helpful, imaginative and very patient. Their designer was willing to spend a lot of time with us perfecting the design until we were totally happy with it, making the whole design experience a pleasure.
The installation process was efficient and of an excellent quality involving the removal of the old kitchen, making good walls and ceiling, seamlessly patching up an oak floor and renewing all the plumbing and electrics. All their recommended work men did an excellent job and were a pleasure to have working in our home. Their kitchen fitter was particularly highly skilled and his perfectionist approach ensured a very high quality finished job.
The end product lives up to all our expectations in terms of both quality and design.

Exceptionally high standards of customer service, project management and design expertise.
The Leicht kitchens and worktop / table / accessory ranges that Contour work with are fabulous, but what really set them apart for us has been the experience of working with the Contour team.
From start to finish, the team have been exemplars of faultless professionalism, meticulous organisation, and unflagging calm and attentiveness over the many, many months of working together (the rest of the build took longer than we had anticipated). They have been incredibly accommodating and adaptable, taking all the stress out of the kitchen part of our project (the most important part, for us) and allowing us to enjoy the design process and maintain the excitement of installing our dream kitchen, throughout the other challenges of a large build. Without doubt, they have been the stand-out suppliers in the entire project.

Contour were extremely helpful from the first visit through to the actual build and to completion. We were fully involved in the design process - good advice was given, the CAD images were very helpful and allowed us to see what the completed kitchen would look like.
The Contour team were very professional from showroom, design, installation. No hesitation in recommending their services.
The kitchen is now being used and we love it! No issues.

Let's assume you're looking for a 'modern look' kitchen, rather than something more traditional or rustic. Contour, who specialise in Leicht cabinetry, should be top of your list of studios to visit.
We offered 6 suppliers the chance to win our business, having visited and considered many more, but Contour bested the others by some distance.
Their design was creative. They listened to our ideas; took into account our preferences; but they were prepared to challenge our thinking and propose alternatives.
We're very particular (some might say overly fussy!) and we'd have forgiven the Contour team had they lost patience with our frequent changes and protracted indecision. They didn't. Not a hint of any frustration or irritation - consummately professional.
The whole process felt collaborative - Contour were working with us throughout. Everyone at the studio David, Rachael, Jon, Alex, and Sarah (who's now left Contour - we've been reassured we weren't the cause!) all 'knew their onions'. The depth and breadth of product knowledge of course inspires confidence, but it also saved time and (even more) agonising. The consequences of some of our decisions were anticipated, explained, and quickly addressed. We always felt we were in safe hands.
All the time and effort that went into finalising the design would have counted for little had the installation not also been first class. We've had a lot of work done on our house with many trades involved. We've been fortunate enough to choose talented people who, for the main part, completed their jobs to a high standard and also respected our property and our neighbours. However, nobody has been as careful or as precise as Richard was when installing our kitchen. The scribing he did to fit panels around awkward beams has to be seen to be believed - a true craftsman.
Without qualification or reservation, I'd recommend Contour to anyone considering a kitchen upgrade who values both quality products and the 'personal touch'. If you're still vacillating then try to time things so your installation is close to Christmas. Contour will invite you to a seasonal celebration in their studio, and Alex's mince pies are 'to die for'!

The planning of our new kitchen was a couple of years in the making as we embarked on a self build project. The team at Contour supported us throughout the project and gave excellent advice and guidance to make sure we achieved what we wanted. We had many on site discussions as well as visits to the showroom fine tuning the design. They were always on hand to help with any issue big or small, the service was always professional and friendly and we built a good rapport with the whole team. We needed a fair amount of flexibility on the installation as other trades were on site during the finishing process and the fitters worked around everything brilliantly. Our expectations were particularly high for a high-cost project of this kind and we are delighted to report that Contour exceeded our expectations at all levels.
From the outset, we were impressed by the innovative kitchen design, with a number of elements included which we would have not even considered ourselves, such as LeManz corner shelves, bi-fold doors, hidden sockets, soft closing drawers and little touches such as vertically-stacking baking trays - it's clear that these guys know their business! We chose the 'complete package' approach (rather than select appliances and each individual tradesman ourselves) and we were grateful that we were not saddled with the hassle of coordinating tasks and scheduling plasterers, electricians, plumbers, kitchen fitters, decorators etc. Contour managed all of this activity and we were grateful for the support, especially when we needed to delay some work because of over-running tasks and (in one case) an incorrect part delivery (a refrigerator water hose). It was also clear that the tradesmen assigned by Contour were used to working closely together as well as being familiar with the finer points of Leicht kitchen units and the Gaggenau appliances we chose for our kitchen. We had the comfort throughout that David from Contour was in-close with all daily tasks, where we know he was in regular contact with the various skilled tradesmen on a regular basis, as well as ensuring from us that progress was in-line with our expectations during the project as it progressed.
So, overall, we simply cannot fault the top quality of this customer experience, from beginning to end - and we would define ourselves as discerning customers. Our initial studio visits, the high value-add design input, the professional guidance throughout and the clear Contour teamwork all contributed to a positive experience, including the handling of often tricky build constraints. If we ever need to go through the experience again, we would not hesitate to use Contour and, as suggested in this review, we have no hesitation in recommending the full Contour package to others. (PS With a few weeks experience to date...we're absolutely delighted with the quality of the Leicht and Gaggenau products).

The whole team at Contour were outstanding from start to finish. Sarah took our ideas and made them into a stunning kitchen;
she just thought of everything. They were very accommodating when our builder delayed proceedings and did everything they said they would and more. It wasn’t a cheap kichen but the pricing was very transparent and we felt in control of the budget throughout.
Contour were everything you hope for when you go to an independant company to provide a bespoke service, but so rarely get. Thank you David, Rachael and the whole Contour team. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting the perfect kitchen.

We chose Contour to supply and install our kitchen because David was so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Plus the price was right! !! Good communication throughout the order process and, although we messed them around with the delivery date, they bent over backwards to fit us into the installation diary. David was very happy for us to chose the appliances we wanted and not go with their suggestions. The fitting went very smoothly and they did an excellent job. We are thrilled with our kitchen - it does exactly what we wanted it to do and I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Contour to anyone looking to install a new kitchen. More...

Contour designed and installed a Leicht kitchen into an extension to our modest Victorian semi in Cheltenham. We'd considered cheaper alternatives but decided to go for one that we both liked as soon as we saw it in Contour's design store. We're extremely glad we did: the kitchen is great, we love it, the design work was meticulous, the budgeting/invoicing was clear and went well - no nasty surprises; Contour were accommodating as to timing, which had to be adjusted to suit the vagaries of construction elsewhere in the house - and the installer (Adrian) was unfailingly calm, professional and pleasant: all in welcome and stark contrast to the builder, which is another story...
