Having lost our dad so suddenly and being completely heartbroken and not knowing which way to turn, or where to go. I could not recommend lilies funeral services enough. They went above and beyond to help with my grandad’s funeral, nothing was too much trouble. These young men showed so much compassion and a genuine kindness at what was an unbelievably hard and difficult time for myself and my family. I contacted Lillies when I knew that my husband was extremely ill and the family had been told that he would definitely not improve- they gave me advice on what to do next in a friendly and professional manner. When the time came that my husband actually died they guided me from start to finish-even contacting the Birmingham registrar on my behalf. I would definitely recommend Lilies as my family were treated with dignity and nothing was too much trouble for Lillies - they provided an excellent speaker to do the service and I would certainly recommend them. I would like to express my gratitude to Lilies Funeral homes, my husbands funeral must have been a huge challenge to facilitate with around 400 in attendance, it went as smoothly as possible and i left the crematorium feeling a huge sense of relief and happiness rather than sadness and part of that is down to Lilies. Have to say a massive thank you to all at Lillies for the amazing care you all took in looking after my dad. However special thanks to Calum and Nathan oh and Ged,Gerard or was it Gerald I spoke to Lillies before my dad had passed away as we knew his passing was imminent and dad had wanted me to sort things out. Nothing was too much trouble, every question I had was answered. Being able to speak via the facebook page is enormously helpful and Nathan no matter what time of day always replied to my quieries. You all gave such compassion towards us and my dad and there was always endless supplies of tea if needed. I am so grateful my neighbor and my pastor both recommended Lillie's from the time we went to organise the funeral where Lee made us coffee and Nathan went through everything offering advice and support as it was my first to have to organise , right through to the crematorium, they were so helpful, courteous, and professional. Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Lillies for everything they’ve done for us recently. We lost Nanny last month and Lillies handled the funeral. The service we received was exceptional. Lee in particular worked day and night to ensure all of our needs were met. No task was too big or too small for him and he was always happy to help.
