What makes a great website?
When visiting a website the average time to entice a person is 7 seconds. This mean in that 7 seconds your website has to be moulded for your target audience, show a level of trust, be easy to navigate, mobile friendly and keep them interested enough to purchase a product, send an enquiry. Over the past 24 years I have learnt exactly how to do this with thousands of websites.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Whether you are buying a new ecommerce website or logo from me I want you to get excited about the project as i do myself.
Whatever it is you are signing up for I will often ask for your preference on designs, what pleases you ashetically, who your competition are and get as much information about your business and what your favorites website, logo etc is before moving onto the design stages.
Describe your creative process.
I like to start from a blank canvas, if possible i like to get to know my clients, what inspired them to start their chosen business and find out more about how they perceive their styling as well as how they want to be portrated to their customer wether that be traditional, modern or even a bit whacky. I then reaearch that industry well, get an idea of what the best compeition is doing and aim to do better than them!
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Generally i need their company logo (unless im designing it for you), preferences to colours, layout choices, any content such as promitions, page or category names and websites or designs they like.
What do you love most about your job?
I probably love the design process the most. I enjoy develping and turning a design into a living breathing website that earns my clients products or calls but its the design i enjoy the most.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for a digital agency up until 25 and climbed the ranks and when i would speak to their customers it was quite embarrasing because I would find customers calling me, excited about their website they had bought and ideas they had when most of the process was there was disconnected and automated. Passed from person to person, initially with a basic template selection and we had to design banners that fit, it was all very limiting and quite soul destroying for us designers as well as the customers so one day when i got told off for spending too long on a customers website that i had created a great really good relationship for I went to work to finish it, apologised and told her I was leaving to start my own business and that was in 2005, the rest is history.

They will not find anyone more committed, nor more excited about you're project. I pride myself on the quality of my work and of my after sales service, and I love what I do! With 24 years developing websites and graphic designing I dont think there is many people around that can boast of that sort of experience.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I generally go out for meetings less and on an occasion i did, i socially distanced from them

As you can see from my logos, my work is of a premium quality, each unique in their own way. Yes you may find hourlies on here for half or even a quarter of the price but i assure you that you will not get the same quality, the same creative input and thought and the same level of service. I design all my logos on a blank canvas, i put a lot of thought into your logo, the lettering, fonts and the industry as a whole and i do not stop until you the client is completley satisfied with the final logo and have even sold my logos on 99designs for upto £3200 in the past.
