How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Most Garages are suitable for conversion, depending on what you want to achieve, office, gym, play room, or habitable room.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Depending on the usage of the Garage conversion you may not need anything to get going, you already have the structure in place, therefore a Garage conversion is a great idea to get extra space for the least outlay financially.
If you wish to make the room habitable (bedroom etc) or you wish to extend/alter the structure substantially you will need structural drawings and calculations, building control approval these are all things that we can assist you with every step of the way. Most Garage conversions fall under permitted development so do not require planning approval.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Its the head height of a loft that we are governed by; I am happy to come and assess on site before providing a quotation.

Lewis Peddle Lofts will assist with every aspect of your build, we will provide drawings and calculations for the project, send party wall notices to your neighbours (if applicable) and initiate building control for you. Most loft conversions fall under permitted development so thankfully very few require planning approval etc.
How long have you been in business?
I have been a loft converter for over 15 years and run my company since 2018.
What guarantee does your work come with?
All work is guaranteed for at least 12 months and you have staged payments that you release once you are satisfied with that stage.
What do you love most about your job?
The customers reaction when they come up the new stair case in the loft conversion for the first time! Customer satisfaction is what I love the most.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had a past customer want to help me start a business, I was very privileged and honoured to have someone back me and my workmanship from their personal experience.
Why should our clients choose you?
You get me as your builder I do not simply sell the lofts and pass on the work I am your builder on site from start to finish and I only use professional tradesman for anything else for example Electrician, Plumber etc.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I haven’t experienced any difficulty in continuing to trade during covid 19 for a majority of work we are isolated in certain areas of the dwelling and can use port a loos on site if customers prefer minimal contact.
