"I recently had an experience with Let's Live Leeds, and unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. While the initial renting process was relatively smooth, I encountered some issues during my stay.
Firstly, a £50 deposit was deducted from my account, which I wasn't initially informed about. This lack of transparency was disappointing, as it's always better to have a clear understanding of the costs involved when renting. What made this deduction particularly frustrating was the fact that I had taken the time to clean my room thoroughly before moving out. However, despite my best efforts, there was a thin layer of dust found in one of the drawers.
I understand that cleanliness is essential, but I had expected a more reasonable approach to assessing the property's condition upon my departure. The £50 deduction seemed excessive for such a minor issue.
It's important for any rental agency to ensure that their assessment of property condition is fair and just, especially when it comes to deductions from the security deposit. I believe that Let's Live Leeds should work on improving transparency regarding fees and the assessment process for cleaning in their properties to provide a more balanced experience for their tenants.
The Let's Live Leeds team was responsive and tried to address my concerns promptly, which is a positive aspect of their service. I hope that they can take my feedback into consideration to enhance their rental process for future customers.

This was my second year of university and my first agent and place was terrible! But these guys are great starting from the initial showing of the houses down to collecting the keys. Nick was very helpful when showing properties because he had a variety and all very close by to shops and town. Fiona from their office was great when handling the paper work and got it done within a day. This was totally the opposite to another angry in Leeds so they are worth a review and a stay! I've been using Alix and her team at Lets Live Leeds for nearly 5 years to manage my properties. They are a great organisation - head and shoulders above other agencies I've used in the past. They are reliable, trustworthy, quick to respond, and very fair with landlords and tenants alike. Most importantly for landlords, they work really hard to minimise any unoccupied periods.
