Lesley is reliable, mature, accountable, punctual and trustworthy. She is a solid individual who brought a sense of calm to my father-in-law and it was obvious to myself and the family, that he fully trusted her in every possible way. If anything, her strength and constant positivity, was a huge comfort to him and gave him a sense of security.

Lesley cooked meals for Tom weekly, attended to his medicines, doctor and hospital visits, did his weekly shopping and managed his finances. She assisted with his personal care and grooming also.

Q&As

It's such a rewarding job! I am fortunate to meet so many lovely people and enjoy making a difference in their lives.

I was really blessed to spend a great deal of time with my father in the last few years of his life. In the last 6 months particularly, I saw how difficult it was for him to be so vulnerable and reliant on others. I found that I had a calming influence on him and brought him a great deal of security, always being kind, gentle and compassionate with him. This inspired me to want to assist others in the same way.

I believe I'm a very down-to-earth, compassionate and caring individual, with a strong ability to relate to others and empathise with their situation.
