We had our family photos taken by Laura and we are all thrilled with the final results. Laura made us feel comfortable and relaxed as she worked quickly and efficiently through a number of poses. With three young children this was vital. I am so pleased with the end results and as somebody who does not enjoy having photos taken, I have been pleasantly surprised with pictures of me. I commissioned Laura to take some professional photos of my family and friends at a recent drinks party over the festive break and I am absolutely thrilled with the results - stunning and beautifully lit pictures of family and friends groups that really capture the spirit and fun of the evening. Laura initially helped me to plan the event and to think creatively about backgrounds and props. I wasn’t exactly sure how may guests I would have so we agreed that we would flexibly work around 1-2 hours if needed. Laura set up her equipment and backdrop upstairs and over the course of the shoot she gradually photographed every family and group of friends.I was really impressed by her friendly but organised approach, she engaged with everyone and encouraged them to use the props on hand.Choosing images for around 20+ groups of people was a challenge but it was made easy with Laura’s website photo uploads that you can choose by selecting your favourites.I thoroughly recommend Laura for her creative and professional approach to photography and will definitely commission Laura again.Brigitte HallidayDirectorIndelible Creative More...

Amazing newborn photos of the baby with the parents. Laura was clearly experience in handling babies and managed to calm my baby down and placed him gently into various appropriate poses. Laura Shimili Mears is extremely professional and her photographs are brilliant - we are so happy with her work. Her friendly personality put me at ease straight away when I did my maternity shoot in Clapham Common. We had a great time and I always look forward to our next session. We bought the bump to baby package; it is so great to have these beautiful photos to show how our baby has changed over the year. We used our new born photos for our thank you card and I have just printed the 6 month pictures and framed them to go on the wall- the quality is stunning.
