About me:

Hello, my name is Larissa. I’m Brazilian and have been living in central London for 12 years. Since qualifying as a yoga teacher I have dedicated myself fully to yoga and helping people in different communities around the world. In addition to teaching yoga I’m also a level II Reiki therapist.

Being a beginner at yoga I was initially a little anxious, however Larissa's friendly and positive attitude quickly made me feel at ease. She has helped me start to build a strong foundation to my practice. I feel she really took time to understand what I needed from our sessions making adjustments and modifications to suit my level. We have been working together regularly and I am loving the classes and seeing the progress I have already made. Larissa is an excellent teacher helping me to push myself and progress in a safe and fun way. Larissa is a fantastic instructor who is very passionate about yoga . Her classes are always fun, relaxing and inspiring . She is very patient and pays attention to your individual needs . She is very good with her Hatha flow classes and is very articulate in her instructions . She will not rush you and is patient in explaining the steps clearly . Larissa creates a warm and positive environment during her yoga classes and I would say she is great instructor and I really enjoy her classes .
In addition to the yoga classes she has also performed Reki on me on days when my energy has been low . Larissa seems to be a very kind and caring instructor and will help you through your journey of yoga in multiple ways possible .
I highly recommend her classes .

Seeing people growing and improving, getting both the physical and mental benefits that yoga can provide is one of the things I love most about my job. We have been living through some difficult years recently and people have suffered from isolation and burnout. Improving peoples health, especially their mental health is satisfying and motivating for me. I also love the fact I am able to teach different people from all over the world online.

I was unhappy working in a traditional corporate environment. Starting my own business as a Yoga teacher was the best way to help people at the same time as pursuing my passion and purpose.

They should choose me because I am qualified, passionate and dedicated yoga teacher. I ensure all my classes are taught in a safe way in accordance with the clients goals and current ability.

All my classes can be provided remotely online through application such as Zoom.

Classes have been taught online through Zoom. I am fully vaccinated and if classes are taught in person appropriate guidance is followed with regard to distance, PPE and sanitation.

Services

I primarily teach private classes which are online through Zoom or I can travel to your home or a location of your choice. In some circumstances it is possible for clients to come to me, and practice in my home or a nearby outdoor space. I am based in Bermondsey, central London.
All classes are structured according to the needs and abilities of the participants. Each class is focused on the specific sequence of flowing asanas, improving strength, flexibility and stamina. Working with the breath and movement to energize or relax the mind, body and spirit creating a moving meditation. Classes usually finish with deep relaxation which works towards significantly reducing the level of stress and anxiety. Modifications are always offered based on the needs of the participants. All ages, fitness levels, shapes and sizes are welcome!
Yoga is for everyone and one of my jobs is to encourage you to discover what works for you. The length of class can range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes.
