BN11, Worthing
My name is Michal - I am a Worthing-based chartered landscape architect. Following over seven years of employment at landscape practices in Sussex, I recently moved on and set up on my own as LArch – Landscape Consultancy and Design.
Having set up in the last quarter of last year, I am still a bit of a new kid on the block making my way in the industry.

What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people and working together to create beautiful places that support wildlife and encourage outdoor living and recreation.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked for bigger landscape practices for the last couple of years, I decided to put my hard work into motion and set up on my own.
I like building positive relations with my clients and partners and learn from each other.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a passion for nature and creating places where people want to spend time.
I put a lot of emphasis on inclusive and equitable design which benefits people of all ages and abilities.
With my unique perspective shaped by the educational mix in biology and landscape architecture, I promote nature-based solutions to help create convivial spaces where nature and people thrive.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Absolutely! We can meet and work together remotely via popular online collaboration platforms.
Whenever possible, I would prioritise visiting the site to get a sense of the place and see it from all angles. Nothing teaches about a place more than a visit and direct experience. However, where there is good communication, I am happy to work with my clients completely remotely and create proposals based on drawings, pictures, videos and stories from their experience of the space.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am tripple vaccinated.
When meeting face-to-face, we can agree the most comfortable arrangements.
