Julie Langton Smith has a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology and Consciousness Studies awarded by the University of Northampton. This allows for a more mindful, spiritual and human approach to health issues bringing in a deeper understanding of some of the underlying reasons for some physical symptoms ranging from IBS, weight loss/gain, headaches, insomnia, cravings, back and joint pain for example.
Specialising in anxiety driven behaviours that can affect our daily lives and relationships especially the relationship with ourselves where we can sometimes find life a struggle. These feelings of worry, stress, upset, out of control, fear of the unknown can impact on the way we behave at home, work or with partners and friends.
All therapies listed below are available as a personal consultation or an on-line service by Skype or telephone. This helps those people who are unable to visit in person who need help. Free consultation is available before committing to booking sessions.

Hypnotherapy aims to help a person overcome negative patterns of thought/behaviour by using the power of positive suggestion to bring about subconscious changes. This is thought to help at a deep level when the person needs support to make changes that they feel they are struggling with at a conscious level. Hypnotherapy does not make someone go to sleep, it helps to connect to a deeper part of the brain which opens up to positive suggestion when relaxed. A person receiving this treatment is always aware and there is no sensation of being out of control.
