I started my career a little over 10 years ago in the electrical field as a sub-contractor, where I worked on jobs from small domestic rewires to large new build housing developments.

KnightBros fitted a large door and frame in our office fitted locks and ironmongery and even fitted shelves and large picture frames not initially quoted for . I'll start with the positives: Carl at KnightBros is a really nice guy and he did a brilliant job renovating our bathroom.
It looks awesome. He replaced a totally wrecked bathroom floor, tiled the entire room, installed a new shower, toilet, sink, extractor fan, electric radiator and lights. It looks fantastic.
The negative: Carl took twice as long to do the job as he quoted (6 weeks instead of 3) and it cost nearly £2.5k more than the quote. We had to spend about a month in hotels due to the length of time he took. To be fair, once you start a job and see what's underneath all the bathroom suite/furniture then the real problems are revealed but that doesn't take the sting out of such a big increase in the time and cost. And Carl was going through lots of personal problems doing this job which he told us about. He was arriving to our house to start work at 2pm and leaving at 6pm instead of arriving at 9-10am like normal workers. Once he told us he'd arrive between 8-9am and he showed up at 2pm. I would use KnightBros again for smaller, non critical jobs but never again for such a major project. My wife would say three stars is generous.

Carl was great. He is a very knowledgable electrician and fully upgraded all the spot lights, which were not properly wired originally. I needed a new door fitting in my bedroom, unfortunately due to poor quality work carried out prior to my moving in, the job took a bit longer than they'd anticipated but they dealt with the unexpected challenges really well and professionally. I wasn't too sure on what I wanted but they provided good advice and a good range of options for me to choose from - I'm really happy with the result. They even highlighted an issue I hadn't noticed before and my door now opens the correct way! What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We started trading December 2020. So we had mask and other ppe and if anyone was in the property we'd close off area's that the work is to be carried out.
