What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
You need a love of photography. Having a good technical knowledge of cameras, lens, lighting....etc, all add up to ensuring you capture the moment. Also, having an eye for composure and noticing things that others may be unaware of.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What sort of style would the client want.
Are there any family or friends that may feel uncomfortable with having their photo taken.
Who will organise the group photos. When is best to take photos. Can a private, more intimate photo be taken.
What are the timings.
Are we able to attend rehearsals to find camera placements.
If drone footage is required, what is the flight location.
What do you love most about your job?
Basically, we live and breath every aspect of photography. It is also a pleasure to help out and hopefully bring pleasure to our customers with the finished product.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Have always been into cameras. We have been doing a lot of odd jobs for local businesses. The brand Knapproductions had no real direction. So, we decided to focus on weddings and related events.
