Catherine catered a small birthday lunch for us, ages 3-98. The numbers were small, but the food had to be either gluten free or dairy free or both, and mainly vegetarian, so not simple. I have had 2 experiences of Catherine's cooking. The first was a charity fund raising even in Godalming. About 50 of us attended. Catherine organised it all very well, calmly and professionally. The food was delicious. But the highlight of my evening was winning the raffle hamper that Catherine had made. Inside was a fruit cake, biscuits, chutney ext. it was all exceptionally good and I was able to enjoy Catherine's cooking for another couple of weeks! The second event was a paella party for 40 in a private garden. Again the food was excellent and it all went off smoothly and professionally. Catherine recently supplied Paella for 40 people in my garden for a lunch party. We chose her chicken and chirizo and her vegetarian option. We also had a selection of her puddings.
