Give blood here every now and then, seems alright, not sure that qualifies me to review the place, but here I am doing it anyway.

The hub at hazelwell is essentially a church with an extended church hall on two levels. A lot of activities take place here - slimming world, dance lessons, yoga, etc. There is a foyer with permanent staff in the office for security. More...

Nice venue and well situated. Only a vending machine so bring own food unless you want to use the Chip Shop or small shop opposite. Only downside is the smaller car park. More...

Very friendly staff and lovely main exercise studio. Car park is, however, miniscule. Sometimes I have to park several roads away and walk up. Not a problem, but it's unpleasant in the rain! More...

Great community hub; used by many groups including yoga classes, children's dance classes and Slimming World. There are also rooms suitable for business meetings. Clean, modern, warm and friendly.

I have been there several times for training, rooms are warm, small parking space on sight but able to park on side roads, refreshments provided on the trainings I've attended. overall a lovely building.

Situated on the south of the city The Hub is a lovely building for activities and training. The rooms for hire are good sizes, the ground floor rooms are the largest and the rooms upstairs smaller but still with good capacity. There is not a big car park at all however there are places locally on the many side roads etc. The 11 bus runs outside. The building is secure as you buzz each time to get in and have to sign in at reception. The toilets are on the ground floor and their is a good sized disabled loo with baby change. There is a kitchen for events, tea and coffee is catered for with room hire and there is a stocked vending machine in reception. I went to this place for an information event about childminding. While the event succeeded in putting me off this for ever (way too much legislation and red tape to make it worthwhile for me), I really liked the venue. It's a lovely clean and newly refurbished environment. The toilets are clean and almost, dare I say it, enjoyable to use. (I quite often grade the quality of a place by the standard of it's toilet facilities.)The room where we were was really pacious and I loved the fact that it was really bright. The furniture was comfy, which is important when you're on your bottom for long periods of time.I also looked into booking a room for myself for a project I was thinking about and I thought the price was quite reasonable. As a community venue, it really is a cut above the rest. More...
