Q&As

At Jothno Care and Support, we love the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives by providing them with the necessary support and care. We find joy in helping customers maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes. Additionally, we often form close relationships with our customers, which can be very rewarding.

We want to make a positive impact on people's lives. Starting a business also allows us to have more control over the care we provide and the way our company operates.

We do not compromise with quality, standards and set regulations. We employ and manage all our caregivers directly. All our staff are fully vetted, expertly trained and accredited as well as being regularly supervised and monitored.

As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Jothno Care and Support has implemented several measures to keep their clients safe. These include providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to staff, implementing strict cleaning protocols, conducting regular staff testing, and following government guidelines on social distancing, vaccinations and infection control.

Services

Respite care is a temporary relief from caring, while the person you care for is looked after by someone else. It lets you take time out to look after yourself and helps stop you becoming exhausted and run down.

Your loved ones can continue to receive the care and assistance required from our professional and caring caregivers whilst you take a much-earned respite.

If you or a loved one needs day-to-day support and are planning a holiday within the UK or abroad, one of our caring and professional caregivers can help you find a holiday tailored to your specific needs. Let us take care of your holiday and offer our services. We will look to meet your specific needs and requirements, whilst paying attention to not only your physical health but to your overall mood. That way you can enjoy your holiday whilst also having the comfort of a recognised professional caregiver by your side.

Personalised approaches to meeting basic human needs are becoming increasingly popular among large segments of the population. Many people take advantage of community-based offers. We call these “day opportunities”. Your day can be tailored to your specific interests and preferences.

If a facility where these activities can be conducted has not yet been determined by the local government or by you, we will seek out the location.

Service users have access to personalised care around the home through home care services. Elderly people may become frail and unable to do housework as well as they used to, or may be living with a disability or medical condition that limits their mobility.

If you need help at home and are unable to do it yourself, our staff will come to your home and help with your household chores.

Patients are at risk as they move between parts of the health system. As caregivers, we are familiar with the logistical obstacles this can cause. This is because it creates safety hazards and unnecessary stress that can affect the physical and mental health of service users.

As an agency, we want a seamless transition, so we are working with everyone involved to make the transition into our care easier. A dedicated team works to facilitate all new referrals under the supervision of an Enrolment Manager.
