It was a delight having Jo there on the wedding day! She is such a lovely and beautiful person. She has a real passion and enthusiasm for makeup and beauty. Jo is friendly and easy to get on with and will work with you to find the perfect makeup look! The trial was great fun and there were no worries about asking if we could try a different colour lipstick or adjusting the makeup. Jo made it work to fit our requirements perfectly! Not only was Jo great at the makeup, she was generally caring and thoughtful. She would ask the bride and us if we needed anything or if she could help out. She helped me to get hoiked in to my corseted style dress and helped me do a bodge alteration with a safety pin! She stayed with us on the wedding day until we were about to talk down the aisle, which was perfect for final makeup touches! Jo was professional but has a lovely relaxed nature, which means you can chat away and have a real laugh whilst being pampered! (She also has an adorable dog! - ask to see photos!!). Jo did make up for my wedding and did such a brilliant job, the make up lasted the whole day but still looked natural. I'm always conscious of a bit of a double chin and when I said this to Jo she was like 'oh that's fine, I'll contour it out! What do you love most about your job?
I love to make people feel beautiful. And how I can adapt my skills to different looks there is something out there for everyone and I love to spend time with people and most of all have fun with makeup !
