We contacted J&M health care ltd, at a point of crisis. We needed respite accommodation and mental health support at for my son with learning disabilities and mental illness.
My husband was acutely unwell and managing both on my own was not possible.
J&M Health Care responded brilliantly to our urgent request for respite care. The care and support package provided was just what my son needed. My son has enjoyed and connected with the carers and their programs, he is now a regular at their homely respite accommodation. We are ever so grateful.

What do you love most about your job?
Connecting with service users and making a difference. The care industry serves a broad spectrum of people, and as a carer we encounter individuals from all walks of life. Providing comfort and security at times when services users and families are vulnerable is a reward that many people never experience. Playing an integral role in improving a service user's health and then receiving genuine gratitude from that service user is often the greatest gift.
What inspired you to start your own business?
J &M Healthcare ltd was born out of a belief that there had to be something better out there for elderly and vulnerable individuals in our local community. We’re committed to hiring the most caring carers to provide the best possible service to individuals in need, raising the bar for home care and supported living in Peterborough and surrounding areas

Service User Profile
Although all admissions are based on a pre-admission assessment, including a risk assessment, a typical resident profile is as follows:
Diagnosed mental health problem and dual diagnosis of substance misuse and/or a learning disability
In receipt of secondary mental health services and has a community care plan in place
Possibly subject to CTO
Over 18 years of age
Male or female
May have a history of challenging behaviour
May have a history of failing to engage with services

Personal care and grooming
Help with getting ready for the day or retiring to bed.
Live-in care
Sitting service
Care during the night
