I could not recommend JJMT (Janine & Janice) any higher than I possibly do now. After our wedding we received some sneak peek pictures within a few days and they are fabulous. Our guests have raved about how brilliant they both were, they captured some amazing natural pictures that we will treasure forever! Conor and me are defiantly not naturals in-front of the camera and yous both made us feel so a ease that we enjoyed every moment of it . Had these two lovely ladies to photograph our wedding at Sao Rafael hotel, Albufeira, and from the outset they made us all feel very comfortable, there was very little formal posing & they just managed to capture the magic of the day. They were so unobtrusive we hardly knew they were there but with about 250 photos to choose from they caught every spontaneous & intimate moment on film. Would highly recommend these ladies for their professionalism, quality of work and their responsiveness to all queries & requests afterwards when we were making the hard choice of selecting which photos we liked best for the album, as there were soo many good ones, it was a hard decision. What do you love most about your job?
We get to be surrounded by love and happiness and everything else in between on wedding days. We love hearing couples stories, relating and learning of how they met and their plans for the future.
Mostly we love capturing memories for people, freezing moments and being able to look back on photos. Knowing that we helped to create those memories, for us it's amazing!
We are extremely grateful that we get to do this as a living and we do know that we have the best job in the world!!!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We had been living in Asia for around 8 years and blogging our way around the countries, therefore we became obsessed with travel photography and documenting the people we came across on our travels.
Two of our closest friends asked us in the same year to photograph their weddings. One was in South Korea and the other in Spain. We loved every single second of them and decided to set up our own business shortly after that and we have never looked back!
Why should our clients choose you?
First of all you should be sure that our style of photography is what you are looking for.
It's important for us that you love our candid and relaxed style of photography as it's possible your wedding images will have the same feel and look.
We are very passionate about what we do and we do everything to make you feel comfortable and confident in front of our lens. Getting to know you is important for us as we will likely spend 10 hours or more together on your wedding day! To help with this, we love to meet up before the big day, hear your story and possibly have an Engagement Shoot together.
We give 110% to our business from pre-meetings, location scouting, day of wedding and in the editing of the images after the big day.
You will miss things on the day, the day goes by so fast and with having two photographers we aim to cover all angles on the day of the wedding.
We are laid back, easy going and love what we do. We use the best equipment possible, the best editing software, we are constantly learning and growing to improve the overall service we offer our couples. If you feel we would be a good fit for you, we'd love to hear from you!!
