J&J BUILDING SOLUTION, built an extension to the back of our property, fitted a new kitchen, appliances, floor and tiles. They built a new patio and wall outside plus a garage which has been part fitted as a utility room . They also removed a chimney breast from a bedroom and then redecorated the room and completely refurbished our family bathroom. I have recently got major structural work in my new house done by J&J BSL that involves complex chimney stack removal and structural wall removal supported by RSJ beams and steel posts including new foundation. What do you love most about your job?
One of the most important things for me is to enjoy a good work-life balance. By doing so, I find that I retain the energy and passion I need to perform to a high standard at work. My last job was fantastic because it gave me the freedom and control that I needed. Like this role, my last one enabled me to work on a flexible schedule. With my last role, I generally woke up with a smile on my face, ready to give my all.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Over time, I have been able to find all the flaws and shortcomings that companies have in my industry. We have gained experience over the years and we have decided that it is time to innovate and add value to the industry and bring safety through our constructions.

It comes down to priorities. I’m in business to create lifetime clients because in my experience, when you treat someone with care and respect, you get great referrals and word of mouth. Just recently I helped a old woman who came to me after having a bad experience with one construction company. She was so thrilled with what I was able to do for her she wrote me a thank you letter saying ‘you’d better send me a big handful of business cards because there are a lot of people I want to send your way!
