The team at Jewel Home Care have provided excellent care for my Mum who has Alzheimers. The team are so flexible in the care they can provide and are so ready to listen to our concerns and needs. These are acted on swiftly and appropriatly. All the carers have been so kind and patient with Mum. Care is their priority as opposed to many companies who focus on time and money - and for this they are to be commended. Management have been so supportive and are quick to respond and keep in touch. Unfortunately failed to turn up for a pre-arranged initial visit to discuss care provision, no phone call or apology. If management are not professional then they are letting down both staff and service users. Would not employ this company

What do you love most about your job?
I love making a difference in other peoples lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working for 15 years in Hospital and and Community i realised that there is a huge gap. Easpecially where people delay to be discharge waiting for urgencies. We take smalk calls to larger calls whereas well established companies do not take small calls.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We always wear full Covid-PPE. We keep all our communication clear and we also update our staff on a daily basis about Covid-19. Promote hand washing all the time. Our staff are encouraged to be tested weekly as per government guidelines, we have made a priority that same staff members will work with same clients to avoid moving from one client to the other.

We offer assistance in washing, dressing, meal preparing, shopping and all other needs that are needed to meet activities of daily living.

We offer full support with medication administration. We can supervise and prompt taking of medication.
