How long have you been in business?
I have been running my business since December 2022 but been in Social Care Field over 20 years.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
This depends on type of services required. I provide carers with all PPE required for their job.
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people from different background and needs. I have passion to care for others who are in need of help and those not able to protect self from harm and danger. Knowing I have made a difference in someone's life is the greatest gift. My job is rewarding and being there for others and be their voice when they are not being heard to ensure they have the best quality of life. I love to socialise and empower others.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To make a difference as I have seen a gap in practice and room to change how we care for others.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am unique, good listener, advocate, compassionate and go extra mile to ensure everyone under my care is looked after and have good quality of life, have freedom, choice and control over their care and support. Always involve individual in their care, empower them and promote independence in a best safe way possible.
Its important to respect clients/customers home and allow them to build their own support plan that suites their needs not business needs. As a business owner as well being a Qualified Social Worker, I have understanding of the cared for and their their carers. I have understanding of legislations and policies and ensure everything is done as they should and keeping citizens safe.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can do assessments via teams, whats app video calls and online as long its safe to do so. Confidentiality is key in all we do.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Adhere to government policies and guidance. Ensure carers had received their Jabs and records kept up to date. I provided carers with PPE as required, and ensure thy done all mandatory trainings on health and safety.
