Had a roast from here today for 2 adults and 1 child with all of the trimmings. I don’t read reviews before trying out somewhere new to eat but after eating after having a flick through the reviews that have been left I can confirm they are all correct. The food was OUTSTANDING and the portion sizes are more than generous. The food was reasonably priced and you could see was prepared with care and packaged appropriately. The heating instructions for the food were clear and precise and could be followed easily. Upon eating every bite was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. We especially enjoyed the seasonal sprout side with blue cheese and bacon and I would highly recommend anyone to eat from JBs Kitchen which we shall do. We purchased the beef wellingtons last night one with Stilton and one with the pate filling. They were superb,a really generous excellent quality sized beef fillet which cooked to perfection following the cooking instructions,served with a delicious Stilton and peppercorn sauce

Just finished our first offering of JB Kitchen and wow, it was delicious! We ordered on hot dog night - both of the toppings were incredible (the chilli was so chunky! ) and the fries and beans were amazing. Wow, what a fantastic meal we’ve just enjoyed, every course of the taster menu were absolutely delicious. Delivered pipping hot with numbers on the containers so you know which course is which. The portions were very generous, we couldn’t eat it all, so it means we can have the left overs tomorrow evening for tea, so another night off cooking, happy days!! Had a few things from JB kitchen now, lunches and a Sunday roast, which we have really enjoyed. They are delivered with a smile and presented well , with very clear heating instructions if having the Sunday roasts. Last night we had our first evening meal, which we won in the competition ( Fish and chip night ) thoroughly enjoyed, lovely chunky chips with yummy fish and the extras were very nice, mushy peas and tartare sauce, went down a treat. We celebrated our second evening as man and wife with a JB Kitchen experience, and it was incredibly special. Our beef wellingtons had been personalised with ‘Mr’ and ‘Mrs’ engraved into the pastry - how incredibly thoughtful! Wow. Wow. And WOW!! I've often entered the competitions, but today I was the very lucky winner! And it was perfectly timed because its my partners birthday weekend and all plans have been cancelled. We had no idea what to do, then I won this prize! I chose the braised beef cheeks. I'm pretty sure there was enough meat on the plate to feed a family of 4! It was melt in the mouth and absolutely delicious. The mash was creamy, the parsnips beautiful and sweet, and the cabbage still had a lovely bite to it. And there was plenty of red wine jus and that was not overpowering, but complimentary to everything. My partner had the roast chicken and from the speed he demolished it and the mmmmmm noises made, I'm deducing it equaled the deliciousness of mine! We also had a blackforest cheesecake each. They were huge!!! My partner tried his first and said I wasn't going to like mine because it was burnt and horrible. Luckily I chose not to believe him. Beautiful crumbly biscuit base with a cherry flavoured cheese topping and drizzled with chocolate. Inspired!! I'd not ordered from JB Kitchens before because I was a little worried about whether there would be enough for us (I'm a lover of big portions ), but i can assure anyone, they are very generous! They came in fab containers and it was that hot that it steamed my glasses up when I bent to sniff it! Honestly, if you've ever considered ordering from here but have held back, just do it.
