Jane came along to take newborn shoots of our baby Emily! Very professional, was such a pleasure to be around but what I enjoyed the most was to see Jane so excited about all the shoots she was capturing!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
A connection with your client.... if we get on well and you are confident that I can provide a good quality service and we can have a relaxed and fun shoot then, in my experience it works. If you feel uncomfortable then the resulting photographs are not going to be the most flattering or natural looking. This is why I always try to have a pre shoot meet ,maybe over coffee, this gives us an ideal opportunity to bounce ideas off each other.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do you want from your shoot ? What "look" are you aiming for ? Have you got a place which is special to you, somewhere you can feel totally relaxed and at ease ?
What do you love most about your job?
I have a passion for photography and there's nothing I love more than being creative and producing photographs which people love and can treasure, Making memories happen is the best thing you can do for a client. A photograph is a snatched moment in time which can never be replicated but it can capture a look or a touch which says far more than words.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography started as a hobby for me. Originally I shot landscapes ( I still do ). That hobby has evolved into a passion. I love portrait, travel & street photography and of course landscape . Like a lot of people, I wanted to make some money from doing something that I love.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am friendly and listen to what my clients tell me. I am passionate about producing good quality,creative work. Anybody who books a shoot with me is guaranteed a fun,relaxed,informal few hours with some beautiful memories to treasure at the end of it.
