I went in for my first blow dry with Justin a couple of weeks ago . I had no idea what I wanted so left it up to him . The result was spectacular. My hair is difficult to deal with as very thick and dry . Justin gave me a sumptuous blow dry using the brush to keep the top section relatively smooth and big bouncy luxury curls on the ends. LOVED getting my hair done by Audra - I wanted something a bit different and she did not disappoint! I have always been a bit nervous with who cuts my hair because it is curly, and I like to embrace that, lots of hairdressers want to cut it to a straight style but Audra's confidence in curls really put me at ease. My daughter treated me to a haircut & blow dry for my birthday. Was well chuffed with the result !! Staff courteous & attentive. Lovely surroundings in reception & hallway.Did find it difficult to find tho due to lack of signage -- know this is a listed building so limits on what can be displayed, but something more visible but tasteful would be helpful. Really bad potholes in street outside very dangerous particularly with the current poor street lighting. But i would brave it again to go to such an excellent salon. I’ve been a customer of Ishoka for years and when it came to choosing where to have my wedding hair done, it was an easy choice. Kathryn’s care, professionalism and advice is unrivalled and I left feeling every inch a perfect bride. Monika’s pampering two days before was just what I needed and left me feeling so relaxed. The whole team really looked after our wedding party but special mention must go to Lesley Ann who was always on hand to make sure last minute changes were catered for and who made the whole process so easy.
