Where to start?
Well first off hats off to the lovely ladies on reception after a booking error they promptly resolved the issue and we ended up with a lovely king exc.
The room was of great standard, spotless, spacious and comfortable.
The restaurant was lovely atmosphere and amazing food. fast efficient service even when the hotel is extremely busy.

Arrived here last night for a wee break with my husband we got a a very nice welcome from girl at reception our room was nice and clean bed comfy had a lovely meal in the restaurant staff 100% overall 10 /10 love it

absolutely not!! really disappointed by attitude and service by receptionist staff (well just the older short haired lady) attitude was appalling no customer service at all. . we felt intimated by her aggressive and non friendly attitude!!! poor and disgraceful behaviour via management when partial sighted lady and her guide dog visited the establishment and by her own word every Saturday to be told the door had to be closed preventing her guide dog to have the required air as required by the breed of the dog.. totally disappointed to see the way they where treated to say the least..now the food lol now that's a joke kids portions but adult prices food disgusting would not recommend eating at this establishment though my other half was refunded with a 20% discount really should have been a full refund... bar over priced though staff are polite and friendly.. no safe social distancing to be seen or advertised..bar not social distanced seats cramped felt uncomfortable.. WE certainly won't be back and certainly won't recommend!!and to add insult to injury daughter booked us king room but put in standard double room but with attitude and aggressive behaviour of front receptionist staff one lady I will add didn't want to challenge!!!! Attended a funeral yesterday of a very popular and respected man in Dundee. There were no staff on hand to serve at the bar, the funeral tea was lovely, but the plates and cups weren’t cleared, nor were the drinks glasses, so all the tables were dirty and full. Given that there were only 50 people there( due to COVID restrictions) there was no excuse for there being no staff. Some of the staff were rude and unhelpful. Another fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff are absolutely brilliant.... Nothing too much trouble. The room was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with teas/coffee etc. ... as always. The Restaurant has breathtaking views of the beautiful hotel garden and the River Tay.... Especially of a morning with the haar over the River Tay! The Restaurant menu offers great variety and the food is exceptional. The lounge/bar area is excellent for chilling out. Love that the hotel are supporting local breweries/distilleries. The Dundee gin was lovely and the cakes were yummy too, especially the carrot cake! Was good to see social distancing measures/precautions in place. Plenty of hand gel supplied at various points around the hotel. Rooms spacious and comfortable
