What do you love most about your job?
Helping clients with their financial needs; be it mortgage planning, protection planning, business planning from raising finance for their house or business to insuring key needs for them like their family or a Key Man.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Less restrictive than working for a Bank or insurance company - I can be as flexible as my clients need me to be.
Why should our clients choose you?
Initially I offer a fee-free service to see if or how best I can help, then once we have agreed where I can add value we will agree the most competitive way of paying for my services.

Yes, we were set-up to work remotely pre-COVID so its been business as usual for those clients that like to deal with us online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We offer more online/remote services and can be as flexible as our clients need us to be.
Mortgage Planning
Whether planning to buy your first home, remortgaging your current one or, looking to move home we can help with every aspect of your mortgage planning.
Protection Planning
When reviewing your protection requirements we carry out a comprehensive assessment of what the financial impact would be if you or a relative if you were to die, suffer a Critical Illness, be signed off work due to illness or worse yet be made redundant.
We also carry out a similar exercise if you are a business owner; whereby we can provide information on the financial impact the business would suffer if you or one of your management were to die or suffer a Critical Illness.

We offer a market based approach to financial advice and we are normally paid through commission from the lender or provider to cover our costs, however we charge fees if necessary or you would prefer.
We also offer a referral based advice process covering business and commercial lending.
We also offer a highly valued referral scheme to our external panel of ‘Trusted Advisers’, covering financial planning for all types of pensions, tax efficient investing and wealth management, as well as tax, accounting and legal advice. All advisers have been through our due diligence process, and provide initial meetings at no cost to you.
The FCA does not regulate, Accounting, Legal Services, Commercial Lending and some forms of Tax Planning.
Divorce Planning
Receiving expert financial advice prior to your divorce can often make a big difference to the settlement you are awarded. If your divorce involves significant assets don’t agree to the terms until you’ve spoken to Intelligent Financial Planning.
Our expert in-house mortgage desk provides a Matrimonial Home Service designed to cover a number of advice areas, including mortgage raising capacity (with supporting court letter production) and re-financing options.
Intelligent Financial Planning can also introduce you to one of our external Trusted Advisers who can assist with pension sharing orders, investment and tax advice and anything wealth management related.
