Bright has made an excellent difference to our father. Our father a retired military Major suffers from a form of Parkinson's disease and has several issues. Since Bright started helping us and my father. Dad has become more engaged again and interactive. Bright provides companionship and conversation has contributed to our Dad's orientation to person and time. We are happy that Bright listens and converse in a non patronising way. Bright engages with respect to ensure our father's desire to be independent and in control. Bright is also aware there are boundaries and limits to what can be done and is far and clear when explaining this. Bright has the gift of emotional intelligence and goes the extra mile for our father. Thank you Bright, and thank you Ignition Care Ltd. More...

Ignition Care Ltd believe in enjoying a life that is full of purpose and realising our full potential. Therefore, people with mild to moderate learning disabilities and enduring mental health problems are no exception when it comes to living ordinary and fulfilling lives. We therefore provide supported accommodation for such individuals. We will support you to live the life that you want to live where every day can be different.

Our staff recognises the importance of treating each person as an individual with a range of unique aspirations or interests. We will help you achieve your personal aims and goals by developing a personalised plan with yourself so that you can continue to receive the appropriate local support in the community.

Shared living
We provide shared accommodation for those individuals who want to live independently too but aren’t yet ready to live alone. You will have your own space but benefit from socialising with other like-minded people, sharing the communal spaces and sharing the costs of household bills. This is run on a step down/recovery service model.

Low Needs (Independent living)
You could choose to live independently in your own flat with as much or as little support as you need. This could be in one of our already established properties, or we can work with you and our housing partners to source a property that meets your needs.

Medium Needs
You could live in a smaller setting of shared accommodation of 2-4 beds where you receive support when you need it. This may be from 4-12 hours per day and there is no overnight staff on site. This would be a structured service to prepare you for independent living. You will have access to an on call manager to support you when staff are not on site.

High Needs
This is shared accommodation of usually 4-6 beds where you receive 24 hours care and support. Usually there is a sleep in or waking night support worker based on your needs. This may be ideal if you have been discharged from hospital and need to recover or you may need additional support due to anxiety, emotional distress or challenging behaviour and the need to keep safe.

Respite Care is temporary care, which provides family caregivers relief from the full-time care they have been providing for a loved one. At Ignition Care Ltd, our services are contract-free and respite care can be arranged on a temporary basis.

Whether it’s routine or emergency respite care that is needed, we can help with a rapid bespoke plan delivered by a team of professionals. We have the facilities and the expertise to support a range of complex care needs in a setting which is relaxing and comfortable.

Ignition Care Ltd can arrange for a fully trained carer to look after your loved ones whilst you are away. It means you can have some personal time before returning home, fresh and renewed. Respite care can either be provided through:

Live-in Care – where the carer lives in your house, offering support and company day and night.

Hourly Care – if you need some extra support for few hours each day.

For many of us our home is a treasure trove of memories where we watched our children grow up, where we laughed and where we cried.

Home to so many precious memories the thought of ever leaving can be worrying, particularly when faced with reduced independence and the belief a residential home admission is your only viable option to remain safe.

With Ignition Care Ltd, 24-hour live in care service, a Support Worker can move into your home with you to provide a bespoke care service, supporting you to remain independent in the comfort of your own home.

Whether you have complex care needs or just require some support in doing everyday tasks, our 24-hour live in care team can provide a service tailored to your needs. Our 24-hour live in care service affords your family and friends peace of mind, knowing that you are benefiting from the expert care of highly skilled healthcare professionals, in the place where you are most comfortable.

Unlike a care home where many individuals have to be considered, live-in care is a personal one-to-one service that is tailored to the needs of each individual. 24-hour live in care provides a flexible care service, accommodating your regular routine and specific needs, as well as adapting to your changing circumstances.

We understand that having someone share your home can be a very personal matter. For this reason, our 24-hour live in care team take extra care to match our staff sympathetically with your situation and personality, as well as your clinical needs. We also ensure that all of our 24-hour live in care staff are fully briefed on your expectations and personal preferences.

We can provide comforting, end-of-life care for your loved one and assist the family during this difficult time. When a family member is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he or she often has a strong desire to spend the final days in the comfort of home. However, caring for a loved one at the end of life can be emotionally challenging and physically exhausting. We will help care for your loved one and help around the house as well as provide the family with emotional and moral support.
