A wonderful experience for both myself and my son. He absolutely loves cooking so this was a fabulous surprise for him. We loved the day from start to finish. Jake was blown away by both the cooking and the knowledge. As he said it was like a cooking and history lesson in one as Amarpal described where all the spices and dishes came from and how they originated. Amarpal also busted the myth that Indian cooking is complicated and full of calories. We made beautiful tasty dishes which weren’t full of fat. We enjoyed making the dishes and then sitting down to sample what we had created. With a small group it was great to get to know the others whilst having fun and being able to learn from Amarpal. I bought the international spice collection from you at the NEC Birmingham Christmas exhibition for my daughter. She cooked using the spices last night. The aroma and taste were fantastic. It's very difficult to put into words how fantastic this experience was. Amazing venue with very hospitable ,welcoming hosts who were kind enough to share their home (and new kitchen! !) for the day. I bought my partner a day experience (and treated myself to one too), we've been today, and what a brilliant day it's been. Not only are we full from all the tasting we were doing, but actually really impressed with the food we managed to create and bring home, all with the help of Amarpals & Bels guidance and expertise. This weekend Amarpal came to our home to surprise my husband who thought we were all going out for lunch. 6 of us learnt to cook lots of different dishes, learning new techniques and tips from Amar. A wonderful fun experience with a great teacher! "In December I ordered 3 spice tins at late notice, on behalf of my elderly father. Sanjay arrived for them to be despatched promptly by special mail, very well packed, to arrive safely in good time for Christmas presents - to the delight of two grown-up grandsons (keen weekend cooks), and myself! We were all delighted with the value and quality of the spices, and their presentation in the tin which had a lovely home-sewn cover (thanks to Sanjay's Mum). But I have a 'bonus' - the packing box - which very subtly emits a HEAVENLY aroma quite different to my previous experience of spices in my kitchen cupboard (think I'll keep it for the left over Christmas present wrapping for next year)!!Thank you Sanjay, can't wait to get cooking, and am looking forward to trying your Moroccan spices too as we received a tagine for Christmas!" from a customer Hazel More...
