The rooms are lovely and very clean. Breakfast is ok.The service is unorthodox - theres no front desk, and staff are circling around and can assist with everything. Theres no phone in the room (since theres no reception) and you can contact the staff via whatsapp. I tried that and got no response, so had to go downstairs to ask something. More...

Great hotel, we were welcomed at Reception by friendly staff, our rooms were ready early and check in was a breeze.||The rooms are spotless and the bed very comfy. |Location is great, just a couple of stops on the DLR (via Bank) from Euston.||We didn’t have breakfast but it looked good, the bar was relaxed and inviting.||My only slightly negative point, the towels are tracing paper thin, please buy some more! We were visiting a show at a local venue and friends were in charge of booking a room|I looked online at the hotel which seems new and when we arrived I certainly wasnt disappointed. |We reviewed one of the best and warmest welcomes I've ever received and I loved the informalness of the check in.|We arrived about 12ish and as rooms were available we could check in early which was great.|The ground floor of the hotel is lovely, seating area leading to a lovely bar/restaurant area. Small but cosy and cute rooms with a nice bathroom. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. From the hotel to the centre of London is around 20 minutes with London Underground: Jubilee Line. There is not much to do in the neighbourhood of the hotel, but it is right next to the subway. Service was really helpful and friendly, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Also directly across from Canning Street station which was very handy. When the people in the room above mine showered, the pipes made so much noise it woke me up. I don’t know if that was just my room or if it’s hotel wide. But by the next day I could tune it out. I also wasn’t overly impressed with the breakfast, it wasn’t laid out very well and I have had better. We had a double room which was a good size. Breakfast was included which we didn't have due to having other breakfast plans. A kettle etc was included which was good as well as extra pillows available in the wardrobe. Plenty of plugs also available. The only thing I would say is I would have expected an extra towel or 2 small towels to be available so we could have one for our hair but other than that it was great! We were in London going to a Cher concert and this hotel was ideally situated for the O2 and there are excellent transport links being adjacent to Canning Town tube/DLR. ||||It was our anniversary and the hotel acknowledged this which was lovely. Our room was clean and well equipped and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Great little room, comfortable bed, good size bathroom. We had plans of the evening and didn’t need a huge room as we wouldn’t be there much so found this hotel, and it was very convenient for us, at a good price. A car park next door (extra fee). Hotel is very easy to drive to from Essex direction. Right in front of the hotel was the train station so easy to navigate London. |One stop away was the emirates cable car. |2 stops away was the O2.||We had a top floor room, we had a great view of London. The hotel is actually very nice. The lobby area is fun and a great vibe and the rooms are extremely nice. Also, great location! My complaint was with the service. First, there is no real check in desk, which I get with the new hip hotels HOWEVER, I arrived in the evening and NOBODY was there to assist me. There were a couple of guys behind the bar serving folks and did not want to be bothered with trying to help me. Finally another guest staying there knocked at an office door behind the bar and got someone to help me.That type of service remained the next 4 nights of my stay. The bar/restaurant area service was terrible. Two nights they took my order but forgot to give it to the kitchen. Easily took almost an hour to get food both times. Young, inexperienced wait staff that were over their heads with the number of customers. They also do not have phones in the room so if you need anything you are supposed to whatsapp and they will respond immediately....I whatsappd last week and still have not received a response!! Good thing it was not an emergency!Would consider giving it another chance if I find myself staying in that area again...hoping that they get training in for the staff because there is absolute potential. I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights recently and thought it was great value for London. The room and bathroom were small (to be expected for London) but very modern and clean. The shower was nice, we liked the tea and coffee availability and an iron and ironing board was provided upon request. The reception staff were very friendly and there was a good service to store baggage after checking out. The breakfast, which was extra, wasn't amazing but was a useful option as there wasn't much in the line of restaurants in the area. The hotel is located right across the road from Canning Town underground station, and it was very easy to go anywhere in central London, it took about 25 minutes on average to get to the sights we wanted to see. Overall, excellent value compared to some other hotels in London of a similar distance from the city centre. More...
