About

As a person-centred counsellor I provide a place of safety and confidentiality where you can discuss openly what is troubling you, a place where you’ll be listened to.
It may be that you are stressed, angry, frustrated, anxious, depressed, feeling lost or simply stuck, not sure what to do or how to express how you feel.

Counselling

I can't recommend Ian highly enough. He's got a very calming manner and makes you feel listened to. His method is person centred, which I've found means he'll listen to what you need and work with you instead of dictating to you.

Thank you Laura, for your review. I really appreciate your comments. You are doing all of the hard work though, I'm simply being there for you whilst you do it. Well done to you for taking the step into counselling and for coping so well so far 🙂

Q&As

I love working as a counsellor as I have had counselling myself and I know of the potential benefits to clients.
I love the flexibility of having my own private practice.

I have previously worked in different sectors, and when I saw the opportunity to start learning about counselling I jumped at the chance. I saw that my enthusiasm didn't waver and this was an indicator that I'd be very happy utilising what I've learned if I applied it to starting my own company.

I am non-judgemental and provide a safe place where a client will be heard. I don't tell the client the answers as I am in no position to know their answers. I do offer a space where a client will be heard as they find out their own solution to their own development.
