Hannah White set up the business in 2013, and she continues to play an active role in the day to day running of the branch. Hannah also interviews care staff so she is assured that all applicants meet her standards so that quality of service is not lost as the branch continues to grow.

I have worked in health and social care since 2000 and I have always found the job satifaction to be so rewarding. I love the way we can change peoples lives for the better and brighten their lives whilst helping them to remain at home. I have supported people through reablement so they have gone on to not require care and also supported people at end of life, both have their impact on me and give me the passion to contiune in home care for many years to come. I left school not knowing what I wanted to do and I took a nanny job...that wasnt for me so I took a care job in the community and I fell in love with the role. After 12years working as a carer then as a care coordinator I had seen the good and the bad which led me to decide that I wanted to build my own care team and deliver care at a high standard. In 2012 I found Apollo Care and bought one of their first franchises. It has been amazing to watch the brand grow and develop and to be a part of that model is inspiring. Apollo are now also providing care in South Africa as it grows from strength to strength.

Apollo care (west wirral) stays small so it can keep the personal touch. We have a team of 20 care staff and three office staff. I continue to be very involved in the daily running so I can keep in touch with carers and clients and ensure the business contiunes to run at the standard I expect.
The care team are well trained, well supported, well supervised, very very caring and have an empathy which makes them perfect for their caring roles. I interview all staff myself to make sure they align with my company values which are "caring ~ inspiring ~ empowering~ supporting". We have an open door policy to make it easy for clients and care staff to speak with us when needed. Our out of hours service is In House and manned by a team who knows the clients, the carers and the areas we cover.

We have a digital care package which is supporting people by using technology such as fall alarms, door sensors etc.
We can provide a telephone/facetime check in service, which is just a basic safe and well call to see if anything is needed.

We have at all times followed official guidance on the use of PPE and infection control in covid. This contiunes to this day and if staff test positive for covid or have symptoms which are liekly to be covid they do not work for a minimum of five days or until they test negative and symptoms abate.

Services

Daily meals prepared and served. Special dietary requirements adhered to.

Assistance with personal care - strip wash, shower, bath, hair wash and grooming

Care staff will supervised th safe administration of medication in line with prescription directions.

Supporting people to access the community and attend appoinements, meeting with friend groups and partaking in hobbies.
We also provide companionship at home to allow family to have respite time.

Light household duties can be carried out to help maintain your home. Groceries can be collected from local shops.
